Resolutions?

The new years resolutions. 2008 edition.

Let’s take a look at where I want to be at this time next year.

'I Am' in theaters. Lots and lots of theaters. Damn that sounds delicious.
My books being looked at by editors and publishers.
Out of debt.
Fame and Fortune.
Play in the WSOP.
Writing every single day, even if only on a blog.
Living in Los Angeles.
Beefcake.
Finish school

Hmm…this list looks close to doable. Close. Let’s rank them according to those that might happen.

Writing every single day, even if only on a blog. - easy. I can do this one.

Finish my last class for school. - not as easy. Have to do this one. By march 31st.

Living in Los Angeles. - My lease in Denver ends 3/31/07. Then it's off to the land of sunshine and puppies.

Beefcake. - All I need now is some weight gainer 4000 and self-discipline.

Out of debt. - I suppose this means I would have to get a job.

Playing in the WSOP. - Oh this will happen. Omaha 8b or the main event?

My books being looked at by publishers. I'm going to have to finish one to get it looked at. Perhaps by the 3/31 date as well.

I Am coming out in theaters. - This would take care of quite a bit. First I have to make some money to finish it, then sell it, then wait. Notice how it's down at the bottom of the list.

Fame and fortune. - Well, fortune and fame are fairly dependent on either selling 'I Am', winning the WSOP, or writing a novel. Looks like I have a busy spring.

The Suicide Kings

To quote wikipedia:

'The King of Hearts is shown with a sword behind his head, making him appear to be stabbing himself, and the axe held by the King of Diamonds is behind his head with the blade facing toward him. This leads to the nickname "suicide kings".'

'The United States Playing Card Company suggests that in the past, the King of Hearts was Charlemagne, the King of Diamonds was Julius Caesar, the King of Clubs was Alexander the Great, and the King of Spades was the Biblical King David.'
